The Palm Restaurant - Chicago - Chicago
Located on the first level of the Swissôtel Chicago, this outpost is right off the Chicago River, Magnificent Mile shopping district and a host of other Windy City attractions. The Palm is a steakhouse that's rooted in rich Italian history, and it's brought its legendary appeal to a city teeming with iconic local steakhouses like Gibson's, Gene & Georgetti and Harry Caray's.
Italian natives Pio Bozzi and John Ganzi opened the original location because they wanted to pay homage to their hometown of Parma, Italy. They added the steak component when customers kept them in high demand.
Chicago's location has more than held its own; The Palm has been named one of the "Best Steakhouses" in Chicago by ChicagoBestSteak.com. Highlights on the menu range from an 18-ounce prime New York strip to veal parmigiana.
